For my interpretation it's his "home land" coz I'm lazy thinking other meaning behind it. So i just put it that way.
When I though miyaichi died i was like, "etsuro should just die i'm satisfied with the story ending like that." But then in the end miyaichi was alive and they finally killed each other that was satisfying and sad but.. it turns out they had a son which is making the ending unsatisfying, if the author will do that plot twist i wished they were stopped by the time they were about to kill each other

OK. this is the summary *SPOILER ALERT* (obvoiusly)
SAYONARA GAME
Ikuo Arimura has to find a tutor for her little sister who will take a university entrance exam. Matsu, his kouhai and childhood friend, recommends Yousuke Itou, who is also Ikuo's kouhai in high school. Yousuke has been in love with Ikuo since a long time ago and decide to confess. Initially Ikuo rejected him, but then agree to go out with him. Unconciously, Ikuo fell in love with Yousuke but never say or admit it. Yousuke, who thinks Ikuo just pitied him, ask for break up. This is a huge blow for ikuo. Ikuo then try to win back Yousuke's trust and love.
CHANGE WORLD
Ikuo and Yousuke have been going out for several months. Hozumi, one of Yousuke's colleagues, tries to break them apart. Hozume seems attracted to Yousuke and makes Ikuo jealous like hell. The twist is when Hozumi's true intention revealed.
The strength:
1) Strong characterization. You will like them (or fall in love with them, in my case) and symphatize with their struggle.
2) Well written plot. Ordinary facts and scene in the prequel unexpectedly become important in the sequel. If you read Harry Potter from 1 to 7, you know what I mean.
3) The mangaka is superb in playing the reader's emotions. She also can explain complicated feelings very well. No black or white personality here. They should be included in romance & slice of life category.
4) The drawing quality is also the top: good looking (like really really handsome characters), dramatic angles, and realistic scene.
