I just finished reading up to the latest chapter and I’m enjoying it so far

it is for me at least ^^ idk what kind of tropes you like but this one is kind of a slow burn? they’ve kissed by chapter 200 and have done more by chapter 460 in the novel. i’d say it’s more plot than romance but it’s still interesting!! if you’re planning to pick up the manhwa, i think it’d be better to let it marinate for a bit

just read chapter 400+ and boy it was really a fricking slow burn XD but this is 100% great to read, even if you like romance you’ll soon forget it when you read this novel coz this just great :D 100% recommended!

From what I could see I think the brother sent out assassins to kill the brother and they succeeded. The uke died in his arms and right after his death he fully manifested his orb to give to him. After the super depressing moment, we see how he agreed to protect his family (the younger sister mostly fuck the brother) and they marry (this is where the ritual of offering a bride came from) but he's such a mess for centuries that the trauma of it all finally to him. Then we see him wake up from his slumber in the modern world. That's the end of ch.56

So it wasn't the brother but head Butler(?) That sent the assassins bc they show him wearing a board around his neck and he's kneeling so he's being convicted and the brother is standing in the middle of the woods so I guess he'll unalive him. Now they're scattering to get a new emperor so in another panel a baby sitting on the throne. So from this I would assume she asked for the dragon's help and it seems like they married/she's reagent (this part is a little off to me)
