I don't think this can be seem selfish/not selfish but more like he doesn't even show he cares just because he has low self esteem. I know it's not that way but he just settle for what's given to me from Haruto, anything is fine if he can with him. In a way, he's lucky Haruto actually likes him seriously. Imagine if Haruto actually thinks of him just as a sex friend or side dude like he thinks of himself then he's up for long days of torture of seeing the one he loves with other people aka sleeping or going with other people at the same time. Anyways not ready for a relationship with this level of self esteem.
that's painful as hell. but i actually like how the creator is not changing kouta yet. i feel like it's a strong point of kouta to be like that and i'd feel rly rly bummed out if he changed as soon as they got together. like i wanna see haruto actually assure him and teach him how to be confident in a moderate pace cause otherwise it would all seem forced considering how low kouta's self esteem is rn.
