It shows who loves toxic relationships in the comments why would you want her to be with someone who traumatized her? She should focus on herself and live the life she wanted to him loving her isn’t an excuse plus if he did he still shouldn’t have mistreated her .
But I think it's a misunderstanding. They had a good relationship until she got pregnant and had a baby that's when he said all that (in her flashback) but for a seperate reason.

Yh but even if the crown prince turns out to be amazing as long as infront of her he was mean and hurtful, he was still mean and hurtful to her. Having the wider perspective doesnt change his actions to her. Like she felt naseous because of her trauma due to him, finding out that oh he loved her all along doesnt get rid of that trauma so suddenly especially not as those painful events still happened to her.
Question. You think he wouldn't feel nauseous if he learned the truth that Elena was faking who she was the entire time, and that her "father" killed his first wife and friend just to get him to marry Elena? They're both victims of the Duke's plotting and scheming.
Absolutley he feels bad. In no way am I devaluing the pain and sadness he probably felt. And in no way am I saying he didnt love her. But good intensions dont change that he really hurt her.

As the pain they caused is still there.
I know where u are coming from and I agree it must he traumatic for her for her to even react the way she did in her re life but the other point is that although it was indeed wicked he said all that for her safety (not knowing they were going to do what they did anyway) it's like being cruel to he kind in a weird way... I think that's the other side of it.
I do see your point of these reincarnation/ second life stories sometimes have them falling in love with the abuser or person who cause them trauma and it’s irritating. I have not heard her once say thank you to the people who are helping her like that guy could’ve of hurt her and instead of saying thanks she’s cold to him... I understand that ur mad that they knew but the bodyguard is doing his job if you’re gonna be mad be mad at the correct person. Plus is she dumb does she not get if ppl find out she’s not in the right body things can go bad like she says all this stuff out loud and then wonder y ppl are suspicious
I don’t like her when she “apologized” she was putting the blame on him still saying he is suspicious when they are the ones who showed up after him they should be the suspicious ones and then suddenly getting close to his sister and being in his business they have a lot of nerve
John only attacked the people who were trying to hurt him I was always taught if someone hits you hit them back. No one tried to hear his side they said they tried to understand them but they didn’t they feared when all he wanted was to be happy. He didn’t beat up that guys brother it was the red haired kid. He didn’t beat up the guy with the scar it was the red haired kid but he did beat him up after his dad beat him. The red haired kid is the one causing all the problems. When John finally tries to communicate they ignore him and say they won’t listen and hurt him. They can’t call him a bad person when they are the bad ones.
If you think about it nobody knows that the red haired dude is behind it all as he has been hiding behind Erika (or John whichever one) the whole time and the red kid has been using Erika to fight cuz he is weak and can't do anything himself, he's brainwashed Erika into believing he's all Erika has got. All these kids are simply messed up from their childhoods and have not an ounce of common sense. Also every one judged the book by the cover rather than reading it's content, they found out Erika was the reaper and judged him by that.
The reason they didn't listen is probably because all they care about is getting petty revenge rather than truly wishing to get over the past and correct the mistakes that had happened.

I see people taking tetsuos side but no one takes ikumis? I pity both of them yes ikumi needed to grow as a person but he had severe trauma of his moms death he was all alone he only had testuo the brother didn’t like him he just wanted tetsuos love he thinks playing cello is the only way testsuo will care abt him even if it’s only hate. I understand being jealous but to hate Simone who cares that much about you and to call him a monster for something he can’t control is sh*tty..communication is key. What he did is unforgivable and for him to try to carry on convo as if he did nothing is just as bad. With tetsuo I understand being envious of a person to the point where u don’t want to look at them and it’s worse when that person doesn’t even know what they are doing but look they don’t know they just want to make you happy I would sit down and tell them why I’m jealous instead of result in cruel words and actions. You don’t do that to a friend. Ev specially if you say you care abt them while tetsuo makes friends and stuff and tries to get stronger. Ikumi is all alone with no friends no family only cello and thinking of his one friend that pushed him to survive it’s sad.

So far Tetsuo is annoying af with his attitude, didn't know people were rooting for him?. Ikumi grew cold cause he was left alone after a traumatic event. Ofc he is unlikable right now, but i seriously don't want Tetsuo to become better than him. Author also ignores a lot of Ikumi's pov. Tetsuo has issues ofc but he didn't hesitate and left Ikumi alone cause...jealousy. 0 respect for him tbh. Ofc i really want them to become friends again but well

But still he let his brother call ikumi a monster and then called him a monster when ikumi only did it for tetsuo he was so attached to him and felt like tetsuo wouldnt like him or pay attention to him anymore if he didn’t play if u care abt someone u wouldn’t treat them like that it was messed up just cause tetsuo may have had some hard times does not give him the right to mistreat others ecspecially someone who stands up for u and is always by ur side
I mean every person is different that’s why I can’t take any sides, if what happened in the past shaped him,which it did obviously he would develop something. You can’t control your emotions.
I agree with you, but at the same time, even if his past justifies his actions or gives at least more of an explanation, the character can still be unlikable. I mean, to me it'll be hard to surpass a kid losing his whole life & parents & later rejected by his sole best friend, to whatever made Tetsuo's relatives to stop playing and him wanting to be number one no matter what, to the point he didn't care about Ikumi at all.
