I love how these characters and the backdrop just feels three dimensional - it's like I am watching a sensual, intimate movie. Every panel has been drawn so thoughtfully. This is artt. It's hard to depict the fluidity of dance through pen and paper. But idk how this mangaka does it. She manages to translate the 'hardness' of the Latin American dance AND the 'softness' of ballroom dance to paper so well.

Push-pull dynamics are my fav in romance. The pining. All that delicious angst and tears. The sexual tension mixed with the layered emotions. Oh, it's just delicious!

These parents are red flags! How can they leave the protagonist and their kid alone to run this estate by themselves after years of neglecting their own kid? So you can run away to enjoy a very long romantic getaway? Bruh, yes, you do need to repair your marriage and enjoy your time with each other, but your first priority should be on taking care of the little boy you neglected. (╬￣皿￣)凸

It's so weird how they never rushed back after Aidan was injured by the councillor. Like yeah, I know Aidan and the FL sent a letter and everything telling them they can handle this, but who tf says 'well, he can totally handle getting pummelled by a grown ass man on the head' to that? (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

I bet the husband and Doyeon are actually brother and sister. Similar features, similar personality (similar personality doesn't necessarily mean they are related, but it could add to them being siblings from a story telling/'story hinting it' standpoint). The same sandy brown hair and green eyes (though Doyeon's hair is a bit darker, deeper)

There's also Jinjoo thinking how Doyeon reminds her of her husband, looks similar to him, etc. I could be wrong tho.

I am sorry but this author is just superior. When I am talking subversion in BL, this is what I mean. The two protagonists can hold their OWN. They are strong people individually, which makes it so powerful when they get together. Not to mention just how compatible they are emotionally.

And the fact that despite them being fucked up in the head, everything so far being consensual and romantic despite the gangster/cop/violent backdrop of the story?? CHEF'S KISS

I have NO idea why this is the most romantic thing I've read this year but damn these two make my heart and hoo-ha throb!

For those of us who can, let's support the author financially as much as we are able to, folks. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧We are in desperate need of such stories.

Tbh I am not feeling this couple anymore. I was willing to give them a chance in the begin, but it's clear they are toxic for each other. While I am normally a Doyeon stan, I do think it was unwise of her to pressure Jinjoo like this when she's clearly unstable.

I understand Doyeon is in deep, but this was never a healthy situation to begin with to ask Jinjoo to play fair. She should have honestly dropped the ball once it became clear that Jinjoo wasn't ready. What Jinjoo needs rn is not another relationship.

The author is probably writing this story as a commentary on how relationships evolve in terrible ways/become messy. Maybe they never intended for this to have a traditional happy ending/fluffy ending. Maybe they wanted it to be dark.
