We all need friends like these who'd be there when we need them most and who's trust and love for us is not because of anything shallow like appearance or being rich or popular. But because they truly care and look out for you. It's so beautiful. The tears shed today were not because of pain or bitterness but of pure happiness and bliss. I dunno why but the way he looked at the priest, gave me a feeling that he subconsciously knew the proiest was the wood cutter or smthg. Like maybe he was the fox friend in the past life and he lost his chance to tell the fox before since she fell for the wood cutter.

I agree! Also i don't like her friend either haha maybe because he led her on? But I've theory that since he was her friend? In her last life in this life when he knew she liked him he also wanted to led her on so that idk maybe as paying back ? But at the same time he obviously like ( and liked her back in school I'm positive on that ) he didn't want anyone else to have her and the smell made him realise it. Matter of affect I think all of them liked her they just didn't release it.

So, i guess it's not just about the smell and they're like boom! Suddenly attached to her haha i think it plays way back and the smell just made it obvious/ release it. If anything i think she was the one not paying attention to them just living her everyday life ( expect for the friend but i think she moved on ) don't be sorry I'm like you if not more excited than you haha XDD
