Yea, I kinda feel the same. It's like the main plot took a backseat to have the MC "rise up in the ranks" of this sect, for no apparent reason. Like filler episodes in an anime.

Wow lot hate for the ML, i get it from reading up to the latest chapters they were a lot misunderstanding and few things he definitely could have done better which what can be frustrating reading but honestly I can't really fault him at all nor FL really since they both have a few traumas (I feel hers is a bit worse just a bit not compared with his ED) that really had affected them quiet so when it comes to loving someone. Hopefully it turns out well but I am curious more on if his ex or hers show back up in the picture but we'll see.
