I get why Ryuu feels that way because he thinks that all "normal" people look down on them, but that doesn't mean that he can just tell Kouhei that his "girlfriend" will be hindered by his disability. Taichi is literally working towards helping people with disabilities, so if anything, Kouhei would be a source of help for him. But it also bothers me how Kouhei takes his opinion so seriously, like I get that they're friends, but are you seriously gonna believe someone you met recently or someone who's loved you for a while, and supports you no matter what? Taichi is so worried about him, and yet Kouhei just dismisses him.
Ugh, why did Ryuu have to come in and make problems? (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

> get that they're friends, but are you seriously gonna believe someone you met recently
Nah Kouhei's thoughts about Ryu's opinion is so understable. Kouhei has low self esteem, and you forget that Kouhei has a conflict with Taichi in the first place; jealousy, and coincidentally the "third" person is a normal person without any disabilities. It decreases his self esteem, and then he met someone like Ryu, who said "lmao bro u r deaf, ur lover is normal, lol rip" , so boom.

Who is Ryuu for him to decide automatically that hearing can’t be with the impaired hearing? He’s saying their relationship will have problems but all relationships take time. He should’nt be putting negative thoughts into Kouhei’s mind. He can’t just tell him that his “girlfriend” will have trouble taking care of him, he can’t decide that. He has to let him see for himself.

I think you replied to wrong post? Cause I don't talk about Ryu's reason at all. I'm just saying Kouhei has low self esteem, moreover he's feeling insecure/unease cause Taichi's relationship with Chiba, that's why he kinda "understand" what Ryu told him. Basically Ryu is just plot device for Kouhei to overcome his problem or viceversa.
And we don't even know Ryu's story yet ┐('~`;)┌
SHIT MY DUDES they're SO CUTE
