If you're talking about the first chapter I guess Leo didn't see that as flirting, just going out with friends. Remember that Leo is an extrovert and his background is pretty much a spoiled popular child. But I do think that if J.J brought it up, he would have stopped drinking that much and acting like that.
If you think about it both parties are at fault at some point here. J.J for not expressing what he was uncomfortable with in the relationship and Leo for not noticing this discomfort in his partner
