Okay so I see alot of people dropping this because it's "racist" this manga is not meant to represent dark skinned people sadly both her parents are Asians the reason why everyone is scared of her is because of the dark spirits blessing not because of her dark completion they associate her who has dark skin dark hair with her blessing of the dark spirit I can see why ppl would think this is discrimination towards poc but I don't think that's the authors intention of her / him saying white skin is better infact she's kinda doing the opposite shes saying that the Mc is just a normal girl And does not deserve to be treated like trash idk that's just the way it's coming off ( as a POC) to me her turning "white " is not saying it's better she's just going back to the skin color she and her family has :)

The suicide part isn’t the psycho part, it’s the fact that he was using it as a tool to threaten/guilt someone into liking him. This is a manipulative technique I have sadly had experience with. It is often the case that the perpetrator is not actually suicidal, but is using the threat of suicide in order to get a person to do what they want.
But I totally get what you mean. Depression can be tough, and an important step in suicide prevention is being able to have open conversations about it with loved ones. The stigmatization of mental health disorders is doing nobody any favors.
