Why Claude wanted to kill Athanasia when she was a baby again? Well if someone can remind me the whole thing with the mother, claude and athy in the early chapter because I still don't understand why he want(e) to kill her at this point
In the past he blamed her for the death of the mother and just looking at her reminded him of the one whom he loved and how the mother willingly took the risk to give birth disregarding her own safety even after knowing the pregnancy was slowly killing her
(i think it was due to Athy's magic im not sure tho)
If I remember correctly it's cuz the mother would die if she gives birth to Athy . Claude cares a lot more bout the mother than the child so he wanted her to abort it but the mother being a mother didn't want to, gave birth, died , leading him to depression/hate. Idr exactly wuts going on w the black magic tho
i think he used black magic to forget athy’s mom ever existed to be free from the pain and because he was rly mad at her for choosing athy instead of him

Yeah Claude used black magic to forget the mother. It takes 7 years to take effect I think. In the original story he meets Athy after when she’s 8/9 and has already forgotten her. In this timeline the reason why things are different is because he meets Athy before the 7 years when she’s 6 I think.
