Would he be thinking of Dan is it weren't for his injury and the state he's in? If he were healthy and still the champion would he even think about him? I think sure once in a while maybe, because Dan is the sweetest thing, but not enough to act on it. I like this type of arc, I think it kinda gets you thinking. Hope his shoulder rots tho:)
I believe if he hadn't been injured, there would have been NO beginning of JJK's longing for Doc Dan and how he is perfect, and before that happened, there would have been no appearance of Doc. Dan and Jaekyung together. This is just the beginning of the events from the author :(

This is so sad. Listen I think I'm gonna say something very controversial judging by all the other comments but... Taeju reacting like this actually made me like him more. We all know Euihyun needs him more than anything right now, but this just shows how much Taeju cares for him and is learning to love him. He realized that, more than not being able to live without him, he can't live knowing he is the cause of his loved one's pain and suffering. He doesn't know what to do yet except retreat because he panicked, but with time, he'll know what to do. I'm confident they'll have a happy ending eventually, but he needed to go through something like this to start over in a good, happy, healthy way this time because it's what Euihyun deserves.

Honestly I'm still reading this just to see Spirit eventually reach his breaking point after falling for Dan and grovel. Actually not only that, I hope he'll feel so incredibly terrible for being a sh*thead that he'll want to jump off a building and splatter all over the ground while everyone continues walking and stepping on his mangled body. And I hope Dan is one of them, walking back and forth until theres nothing left but his f*cking blood seeping through the concrete. Obviously I'd never wish this to any real person but I really can't stand this guy lmao
