Zhenya raping Taekjoo is bad and we could totally go without it & I like the story are two statements that can coexist. I haven't read this entirely but you don't have to defend Zhenya's actions to show your support or act like because it's a "dark" story it makes sense for there to be scenes like these when actually there's more ways to portray Zhenya's volatile character and the story would be infinitely better if it was written without the nonsensical rape-to-love trope.
