if you don't have lube, vaseline isn't harmful to your body and can be used as a form of lube. though i wouldn't recommend using a lot of it and i also wouldn't recommend you use it long term (*´꒳`*)

i think, however, it's common for students who live with their parents and don't have access to proper lube to use something you can find in your home, like coconut oil or aloe vera. i actually just looked it up and using petroleum jelly can actually cause infections in some cases. so it CAN be used, but it's not recommended lol
