isn't this just postpartum depression? It went untreated along with just regular depression and a whiplash of things happening in her life (father-in-law's death, father's death, husband at war, not being able to see friends and family, worried for her sister who was now a royal ect.). If ppd gets bad, and the situation worsens, the object of her hate would be her child. PPD causes you to do that. I don't think she's consciously hating Vincente (ofc this doesn't take away her wrongdoings).
