I translated a YouTube video of hanae-san's (the voice actor of tanjiro) gameplay one time, like a 20 minute video and it's just me replaying, using the subtitles, getting the dictionary to make sure that it's correct, and then going back over to proofread by myself and making sure that people don't overwrite what I've already done. This hits way too close to home. I lived on the poor side of Philippines, sharing the house with 9+ people, 3 on each room (me and my aunt and uncle sleeping on a twin size bed). My dream was to become a ballet dancer but of course, it's the Philippines what's the use of doing something like that, so I gave up on it. Now I'm studying computer science in USA. I did contemporary dance for 3 years, and they taught us how to do basics of ballet and it made me so happy. I wish I could've pursued it.
