I’m currently reading the novel because I am impatient and I want soveishu suffering, and wowowow guess what y’all~ he’s a lil breakthrough of what I had currently read in the novel-
so basically, Rashta’s child with soveishu can’t become a prince/princess because she is a concubine. She’s mad because she thinks it’s soveishu’s seed, so it should be counted as a royalty, but soveishu said that ain’t gonna happen, that child ain’t royalty but hey I got money to support them and give them some backing so it’s all fine. But of course, rashta’s a greedily lil bihhh and asked duke elegy for help and he said “become the empress.”
Soveishu tries to ease rashta’s worry by saying “well, they can become royalty if navier adopts them. Don’t tell anyone I told you this but, navier is infertile.”
Navier’s older brother comes into the scene and he’s thus violent dude who will protect his sister, find that the emperor got a rat next to him warming up his bed, and he hella mad and wanted to confront soveishu or rashta. He does meet rashta, he didn’t lay a hand on her but there was some conflict, rashta a dumb bih tripped on air and made a scene saying that navier and her brother pushed her and harmed her child.
Soveishu followed along, naviers brother was fed up and wanted that child and rashta permanently gone by trying to give her some kind of abortion potion, and she took it, not by much. Tensions are high, naviers brother is looking for dirt on rashta and he find it. He found out the she was indeed a slave and with child. But be caused a ruckus and got kicked out of the kingdom.
Soveishu plans a scene, he wanted to divorce navier just so that rashta’s child become legitimate royalty, and after a year of rashta being an empress, he will try to get navier back as an empress (because he knows he cannot rule the kingdom without her, or rashta being an empress for more than one year) but his plan backfires because navier overheard him telling rashta that he will divorce navier so that rashta can become the empress.

Bruh when I started reading this I was kinda offed with how childish she looked. There’s only a 3 years age gap between them, yet why did it look like she was 7 and not 12, and him look 20 and not 15????
I'm not sure if there was intention behind that. I just thought/assumed they looked like that because 1) the female lead was malnourished due to her negligent uncle's family and 2) despite being only 15, the male lead has been participating in battles since he was young so he naturally grew up being big. OR perhaps this juxtaposition of their physical appearances emphasizes the similar power and leadership they have despite their different backgrounds. OR (lol) maybe making the ML look like a "real" 15 year old boy would be even less realistic as he is the master of the castle and is sufficient in battle.
