I really like this story so far!
But I just want to note something about the comments I’ve been reading for this story. A lot of people are talking and even bickering about “witnessing your parents” as either a “bad thing” or a “good thing because it’s normal.” We have to remember that it’s different for everyone, depending on a million different possible circumstances. Some kids can be completely fine by witnessing it IRL and some kids can be traumatized by it. It’s pretty annoying to see or hear people say “get over it, that’s how you were conceived” because ??? they could have been traumatized by it ??? It may seem like something dumb to be traumatized about to you but... that’s not okay to say and it really hurts.
Anyways, I pretty much just wrote a whole paragraph LOL sorry about that, I just needed to rant.
