you guys are loud and wrong
“are we supposed to forgive everything seo-in has done now bc of this” no, but saying that in itself means that his backstory makes us sympathize w him bc from what we’ve seen so far, his upbringing has been pretty tragic
“how could he do this to yeongwoon” not excusing anything he’s done btw! from these recent chapters we’ve seen that yeongwoon and seo-in found each other when they needed it the most. seo-in expresses anxiety and fear about yeongwoon not accepting him for who he is and his upbringing bc i mean he’s been shunned for it his whole life by jaewon. his mother only adopted him bc she couldn’t handle the loss of her dead child and the fact that the other one (jaewon) could die at anytime bc of his health issues. seo-in has BEEN aware of this “..but at least i see things for what they are.” he has been isolated and abused his whole life (literally, since he was a child) so why do we expect seo-in’s baggage not to affect the person he was and became now? (also, in present time, he still doesn’t know why yeongwoon ran away and left everything behind, including him.) he was bound to hurt yeongwoon, whether he wanted to or not doesn’t justify his actions.
i come back to life when a new chapter releases but it’s sucked right out of me again when i finish reading
AGSHHHH CUTIES THEY DON’T DESERVE ANY OF IT WHO ELSE CRIED(/TДT)/
How the hell do you just kick a kid out on the street who has nothing and no one? That little bit of money will go so quick. Not to get political but this is what pisses me off about the abortion law. All these people who are pro life fighting for kids to be born don’t give 2 shits about those kids once they’re actually born. The foster care system is a living nightmare. The only thing worse is to kick a kid out of the system to try fending for themselves. There’s so many sick people who take advantage of kids who are homeless. Apologies for the rant. I just hate seeing kids in that kind of situation because I know what can happen to them.
it piss me off when ppl say “heesoo isn’t a bad person he’s just been thru sm” so has taekyung? it’s an explanation to his actions never an excuse lmao ik very well it’s easier said than done to even acknowledge/be aware that there might be something wrong w you & to even seek professional help but cmon,, heesoo is very morally wrong w what he’s doing rn & some of u want to be completely oblivious.. yes ik what empathy is weeps to add on, taekyung obviouslyyy isn’t perfect! in s1 he wanted to leave heesoo, who was abused, vulnerable, & an unstable teenager bc he was scared which is fair but he had also become very involved in his life & failed to realize the severity of heesoo’s state of mind. he was the only reliable (per say..) adult in heesoo’s life & prob should’ve reconsidered his decision but does that mean he deserved to be stripped from his human rights bc of it? no
who else screamed in agony,, penelope doesn’t want to fight against leila (reasonably so) bc she thinks she can’t win
ohmyy gawd..the way penelope’s state of mind is being portrayed so well through not only her dialogue but thru the art as well..i cannot, my queen doesn’t deserve any of it
my poor baby yvonne weeps
she died the day she got lost at the festival..them ho ahh followers took her to layla & that’s when her body got taken over
i love taeui’s character sm. he’s very perceptive, insightful, & resilient which is portrayed throughout the story many times, primarily because of ilay and the situations he finds himself in. i love how articulate and direct he is with his thoughts, especially regarding ilay (ilay wouldn’t have apologized if he wasn’t) he’s very authentic, there’s been times where his thoughts and beliefs clash. a prime example being that he’s been unable to acknowledge that he might just have feelings for ilay due to ilay being a very overbearingly complex person for him to understand. anyway, my point is, taeui’s character is realistic and genuine, not like ur average mc/uke and i love him
