At first I thought this was going to be good, but a bit overused and generic. However, this exceeded my expectations. Like someone mentioned, I love that he isn't crazy overpowered from the get-go. He's rising up and he has a clear goal. He is learning from experiences and he's defeating those who appeared out of his league in the past. I can't wait for the next arc. Great MC and great characters overall. (Not to mention, lots of hotties.)

Honestly, a tragic ending such as both of them dying together is a pretty good ending. Not that I would like it to happen cause I love them both, but it suits the angst in the storyline.
