Eh, even towards the beginning, Muir was rather sketchy. Dropping a t-rex egg on her to set its horde after her to force Curtis to give her up, claiming that she would die otherwise. He even said it would uphold his honor to have Qingqing end up dead rather than fail in getting her back. He even attempted to kill her as a means of forcing Curtis to give her up, saying it would be easier than to rescue her, and that it would be Curtis, not him, who would be blamed for her death. So even way back then he was sketchy at best.
As for Qingqing and Parker, she only cares for Parker in a sibling-like way and really only relented to taking him as a partner and having his cubs because he was so insistent on it and because she felt like she owed him for all he did for her. But yeah, the interaction with them and their cubs will be cute.
