If og novel is more of a mystery, they probably don't even show the death scene. Possibly it's all from Isotta pov, where she investigates and finds out that her friend was killed by someone she kinda liked, who's been deceiving her throughout the book. OG may have had the powers, but what is healing to a sufficiently motivated killer? He could just keep trying different ways till one stuck.

1. Mostly because of Gojo’s idea of creating a new era of jujutsu sorcerers that doesn’t follow some of the restrictions/rules of the higher ups. But also because he tends to challenge their rules/demands, for example the whole situation with Itadori.
2. My guess it’s because these people pose a threat to their “balanced system”, so it’s easier to get rid of something when there’s chaos going on and people’s focus is scattered.
3. Going back to point 1, they see him as threat, they know they can’t exactly get rid of him because he’s way too powerful and useful even if he follows his own rules. But that’s the problem for them, Gojo does things his way, and so they took this as an opportunity to pin him as a bad person so that there would be no reason to get him out of the box/prison he’s in, effectively disposing of their biggest threat.
4. That I don’t know, it hasn’t really been explained yet but I’m sure it will come in future chapters.
5. Basically it’s a survival game in which sorcerers/curses/human have to fight and see who’s the strongest. There’s rules you have to follow and I believe they mentioned you could suggest adding a rule of your own but it has to obviously be approved by Geto first.

Yup he’s from the Kamo clan, Kenjaku was a separate entity(curse) that took control over his body/mind.
