Completely irrelevant to the manga: I was talking to a friend, and I brought up yaoi and they said that all yaoi is sick pedophilia. And that it’s so gross reading it.
I respect people’s opinion but that was going too far ( ̄へ ̄)
Anyways, it’s really cute and good they’re finally having a good relationship together now~~

I think it depends on the mindset of the readers, not the actual content of the comic. For example, some might deem people reading Killing Stalking sick, but a lot of people are intrigued with the story simply because it's unnerving and something you might not encounter in real life. Treat it like any other thriller without the BL aspect. However, a lot of people do fetishize gay people a little too much. If you know there is a line drawn in regards to yaoi, there shouldn't be a problem.
Your friend needs to see experience some of it first to have an informed opinion.

Yeah, if they were to read anything, it would have to be a story that really matches their taste in genre along with a engaging, well written story, plot, and character development. I’m really not that mad about it, but I think it’s better for them to have more experience before hating on it. Oh well~~ thanks for all these tips though!! ~~~ I’ll try to get them more engaged, but if they don’t like it in the end, that’s fine too. It’s all about preference~
