I can understand the validity of everyone’s feelings, but I feel like the surrounding emotions on each character is a bit sad.
I understand that muyeong’s friend was taking things out of proportion, and manipulating the situation in his favor. But he doesn’t deserve to die because of it. Like imagine being a child from a well known family and always setting the example that your parents laid out for you. You never questioned your role and decide to live the Luke-warm life presented to you. The only exception in that life is your closest friend who approaches life the exact opposite way you live. And then because of an unfortunate incident, you come to
to realize an opportunity to live the way your friend does. But even tho the opportunity is present you don’t know how to get things you want in a sensible manner because the life you grew up. His reactions aren’t surprising and he might not understand what his actions are really doing. He probably still see Seonho as the straight guy Muyeong dated in College. It doesn’t excuse his actions but it helps understand where he is coming from.
And then grandma is being the sensible. Her grandson is preaching to be on his own two feet without actually knowing what that is like. So for her to take everything away is the only way he is going to be taught. She didn’t disown, or force him to anything she respected his wishes while maintaining her own morals.
I hope the friend situation was explained the way I wanted it to cause I’m not great with words but I hope you can kind of understand him a little better. Not saying he is my favorite character but I don’t dislike him.
First of all, the comments on this manhwa are overly disturbing. Especially about the latest sex scenes. As much as we want to have our strong mighty swords of “dick”nity.
You need to understand that this is just a story. If you find the sex scenes stupid? Leave. Wanna bring up rape justice into the comments? Leave. You do not have to be here if you don’t want to. But don’t shit on an artist’s work.
We understand rape culture enough to recognize it, wonderful. But when you say it’s a problem because it is being represented in a story. Then you just sound like a know it all bitch. This story is made for mature audiences anyway and for so many people, it becomes irritating to handle the overly righteous readers who feel as though this impacts the state of our world. Some of us are mature enough to handle the hard representation in this story.
And if your looking for a plot, find something else. Some of us like the barbarism of sex in the story, so don’t take it personal and move the fuck along you boujie bitches.
