He was so OP in his previous life that gods seem like babies to him. So how did he die or get sent back in time? That "goddess" or whatever says it was one of the gods, but if he was so powerful shouldn't he have sensed it or stopped it if he wanted? If he died from something, what was it? A freaking multiversal being?

I think he is going to be very powerful this time, I know he says he isn't as strong as he was in his previous life but in the beginning chapters when he leaves the classroom and is in the library with the other boys he says he didn't know what attribute he was and so made a lot of errors and didn't have a stable foundation. And now that he knows his attribute he picked the slowest yet strongest, heavenly god technique, I believe and build his foundation the right way....sorry it's so long

Precisely, he just said that deity's or at least beings in that realm are nothing compared to the power he had before...I have a feeling the author said that, and as the story went on he kept scalling his power more and more so it doesn't seem as if he's surprised about these gods, and he can still claim he used to be the strongest.

---MAY CONTAIN SPOILER---
It's been a while since I've last read the novel (dropped it for now cause of slow update) but I remember that Nie Li in his past life is even stronger than the sage emperor. The sage emperor was planning to do something (don't remember but I think it's about a law or smth) and he saw Nie Li as a threat to his plans that's why he took extreme measures to defeat him and outnumbered Nie Li in the fight causing his defeat.

yeah, ur right, i haven't read the novel in quite a while, but if i remember correctly, his cultivation was actually above that of martial ancestor, which is known as the highest realm of cultivation in the draconic ruins realm, and his current strength in the novel is at dao of the dragon (after legend comes heavenly fate, heavenly star, heavenly axis, dao of the dragon, martial ancestor)

I mean, I wasn't expecting him to be a threat like Boros, but I was hoping that Saitama would need a few more punches to kill him. I guess he's also gotten better at scalling oponents' power levels, because somehow he always knows how much strength to use against different types of enemies that have different levels of power.
Oh he gave me a flower when I was a girl, that means he's always right, and he's never wrong. I'll worship him forever, and do whatever he says without any question...like at least give a bigger backstory as to why she's so loyal, besides her being an angel, the whole flower thing is worthless, dedicate a few pages to the backstory if you want to do it, if not then ignore it completely. But don't half-ass character development and expect people to care for her cause or be able to relate at all.
