For sure he isn't the main problem, it's all connected. Just the twink started it, that's why I think people are more pointing fingers at them. But I don't think the twink is only at fault. Nanjo is a lot at fault too for not accepting or understanding twink and think he is hurting him... like dude if twink won't go with Mokyeojn he'll find someone else or even Nanjo to choke him I mean fr, nanjo doesn't get that... and then of course Mokyeojn is trash, but they all are and he's taking the opportunity to basically have what he wants from Nanjo, is it right? Never seen a rape kit done in a manhwa ever it’s so refreshing, I didn’t catch this as well the first time I read but I like to think of the first part of the chapter as a sort of contrast (maybe foreshadowing?) of what is happening to Brett. It was an unconsentual kiss to the detective via Brett, one dirty and ridden with ill intent. That one kiss mentally broke the detective, causing him to lash out and try to forget the incident by coping with his boyfriend. We take this with Brett’s own apathy concerning the rape, it’s jarring.
But we can also see how after such action, the detective sought out someone he cares about to comfort him, paralleling what Brett is subconsciously doing, going to Hayden. It shows more of Brett’s affection towards Hayden even if he himself doesn’t understand it. My poor boy learn to love and be sad (it doesn’t help that it seems like his father is the same way smh)
Tbh fuck any kinda romance rn give me the plot the plot eats down and I need more whys the world building actually really good.
