I find this wholesome thoo!! They made the REAL reeze become a little good and didn’t do anything bad anymore since on the real novel….the story made her TOO desperate that everyone can wonder if she’s really going to do that lol….i love this

Too many people are complaining, when objectively this is way less cliche. Like idgaf it has less impact, since I didn't like the aggressive drama anyway.
Same, the novel was basically like "what's done is done" and that was it. I'm glad here we get to not just the original Edith but all the Ediths' get their peace because the author was basically a sadistic murder (which is an interesting take ngl lol). Same with Ciel, I'm glad he lost "Reeze and the trust from his family because he does deserve the backlash.
Less cliche?? This was way more cliche. The princess saves Edith from execution. Killian has no reaction to Edith telling him this world is a storybook and she knew how certain things were gonna play out. And the other Ediths that were brought by OG Edith were just waiting in a separate room to punish the author while none of them seem to be mad at og Edith for bringing them.
It was "objectively" less cliche by just pure ratio. What you're complaining about is the plot convenience, not the cliche. And that's really more of a fault of the format it comes in. Literally every other villainess novel just ends in vengeful punishment of the villains with no real resolution.
At least this one, not only did she get an intervention, she got an apology, and a resolution.
