I think it's been revealed already

Yeah, he was "revealed" already, but it was only just bits of him.. like a man without a face and when Jian Yi was dreaming about his father pushing him off a cliff.

They already revealed that didn't they? About its back story and how he and jian yi's mom met and how he died

Same its been like 5 years of me reading this and it doesn't even really revolve around the 2 of them anymore, might consider dropping

Nvm, it made me read the whole thing, Jian Yi's father is a bigshot considering that He Tian's brother follows Mr. Jian's order when they kidnapped Jian Yi.

He's dead. He tian's brother followed the dad of jan yi's dad (jian yi's grandfather) order basically. Because of a promise to Jian Yi's Mom that they would never involved Jian Yi to their kind of business (maybe they are in a gang or in mafia business, idk).

I hope you find some time to read this long ass answer. This is my reason why I don't believe Jian Yi's father to be dead.


Yeah, we could say that it was Jian Yi's grandpa, but it was never shown that Jian Yi's father is dead. In chapter 105, the situation might not be about the dad dying, but how the dad is leaving because he was in some dangerous situation, and in order to protect his family, he decided to leave. Also, I've mentioned that the father is a bigshot because in chapter 167 He Cheng and some underlings were ordered to kidnapped Jian Yi. He followed his boss's order... why boss? Because of how respectful his tone is when He Cheng was talking on the phone. It was later on revealed in chapter 168 that it was Jian Yi's father. He Cheng gave the phone to Jian Yi's mother, and it was shown in the caller I.D the name "Mr. Jian". Also, based of ms. Jian's actions and behaviour, she was quite fearless during that situation when one should be scared even if it's just a bit, since her child got kidnapped and some unknown people in a gang.. but it was all the opposite. Maybe she was not scared because she knows that it was Mr. Jian's men. In chapter 168 ms. Jian told mr. Jian on the phone to order his men to leave and then she reminded him the promise they once made with each other not to involve Jian Yi or leave Jian Yi alone, something like that. Jian Yi was let go, but only a few days had passed and Jian Yi was taken for real this time in chapter 192. While being held hostage by a man, he thought of a reason why the man kidnapped him. When Jian Yi brought up about the topic money, the man shuts that down saying he wasn't doing it for the money, which leads to Jian Yi feeling terrified thinking he is after something worse. He came into a conclusion that maybe he got kidnapped to threaten his mother, but that was not the actual reason, since He Cheng later says in chapter 195 that "His only motive is to meet sir" (Mr. Jian). Ms. Jian later on meets up with He Cheng, and upon seeing them, she was quite upset by their current situation and remarks that she doesn't give a damn about what they do in their line if business as long as they leave Jian Yi alone. She also mentioned " I've been running for so many years, but I still can't escape events like this" pretty sure this was about the time when she and mr. Jian was still together, because of mr. Jian being involve in the underworld, it caused them to always ran for their life. Okay, back to Jian Yi being held hostage. He Cheng lets ms. Jian know that in response to Jian Yi getting kidnapped, mr. Jian send out his men to save his son and already reminded them to make sure that Jian Yi comes back unharmed. [(Ms. Jian: You must bring Jian Yi back unharmed),(He Cheng: Mr. Jian has already reminded us)] In chapter 235 Jian Yi's mother left for a long time, Qiu went to Jian Yi to deliver a bag and tells Jian Yi that his mother won't be back soon. Ling story short, Qui became Jian Yi's bodyguard, he feels like he was being treated as a maid, Qui conplained He Cheng, but was reminded by He Cheng to deal with it (He Cheng: The situation recently is tense, behave.) It is clear now that Jian Yi got kidnapped and was now being protected by Qui because someone is after Jian Yi's life after knowing that he was Nr. Jian's son, why? Maybe for revenge or so.

Uhhh, I already did.. so how does that prove the fact that the father is dead when it was never indicated? It literally could mean a promise that is broken. Like ms. Jian was remembering those times when they need to part ways and the father saying he is going to marry her once he comes back, but something happened, probably was in a bad situation where he can't go back to his family considering that he was part of the underworld. Also, it looks like ms. Jian was still pregnant at that time when mr. Jian said his goodbyes... like my point here is, he came back to his family when Jian Yi was born, only to leave again.

Ohh, nvm.. she was not pregnant at that time, they clearly just fcked and ended up having Jian Yi. She was remembering those sweet memories with his, assumingly "boyfriend" since they never had the chance to marry each other, since mr. Jian only came back when Jian Yi was born, probably just to be with his family for the first time since he left because he was in a literary bloody situation at that time. He left again to not drag his lover and son in his line of work, so that probably explain the sad vibes in chapter 105. Ms. Jian was sad there because her partner finally went back to her only for him to leave again.

Ohh damn.. didn't realize that I haven't read some chapters.. well this is, awkward °_° just saw 409.. and... yeah hahaha... but still!!! I believe that the ACTUAL Mr. Jian of is alive. I am going to keep my mind open and let my imagination run wild, unless there is an actual confirmation that the father is indeed dead... like like, maybe he could be in a coma in some hospital bed, so that is the reason why the grandpa is protecting Jian Yi, for the reason of feeling guilt for putting his son (father) in a situation where he won't be able to be with his family ykyk!

Chapter 416..... WELL... WELL there was no body okay!!! Therefore I believe that he is still alive. Maybe you know! Maybe it was all a plot by the grandad to fake his son's dead and had the world know about it to let their enemies know that his sone is dead so that they won't touch Jian Yi and his mother, when in fact, he is just in a coma ykyk. I rest my case, I am still going to be open minded about this whole thing.

. let's see if the author would explore the story of jian parents story more . Otherwise for now it seems most likely that his dad is dead ..

Unless there is no tomb like He Tian's mither, I will still firmly believe that his dad is alive

I as well think that his dad might not be dead yet. I feel like the whole „He Cheng and Qiu being ordered to protect Jian yi“ thing has a lot more meaning that we assume. Maybe his dad is undercover, giving orders from „the underworld“ (mafia) to his people so that they won‘t reveal that he‘s still alive.
And also, we know that Jian Yi will get kidnapped on his second day of High school. On a private Island.
I feel like this will be the doing of his Dad, maybe that’s where they‘ll meet again.
