While Huimin went to a complete different world where everything was happy, Iheon was his friend, that's maybe why when he sees the "novel" Iheon GENUINELY smiling, he sees the friend Iheon in him.

Wait I got like a theory, there was another portal that opened inside the great dungeon when they cleared it. The portal looked like it disappeared and I feel like someone used their skill to make the portal reappear in the future where they have even greater chance of clearing it due to all the new technology or something.
