to be fair i think it was one of those "I'd rather she hate me than miss me" situations. And he said he was shocked to find out he had a kid, so he didnt know she was pregnant.
He was terminal with 3 months to live, Didn’t know she was pregnant and knew his only chance of survival was in the states. He left because if she hated him, then she won’t be sad when he dies and if the surgery works, he can come back and beg for forgiveness. The issue is that he fell into a coma and got amnesia and she died. It makes perfect sense for him to do what he did. A lot of people do. My only issue is that people shouldn’t be ignoring symptoms like chronic headaches or migraines. Korea is pretty health conscious so I’m really surprised not a single person pushed him to get checked out. It’s not expensive like America and they have pretty good healthcare there so why he would ignore it instead of being nagged at to get checked out is beyond me. He could have had it removed early on and be fine.
I do not know if he even knew about the pregnancy. But assuming he did, would it not put more pressure on a pregnant woman to know that her partner is about to die in three months? I mean ofc it's best to communicate, but dude was literally gonna die in ninety days time, why is it 'selfish' if he considered that as his final descision? My friend is Korean and the second I mention having ANY symptom, she immediately gave me health tips and gave me home remedies and told me to go to the doctors. China and Korea and Japan and Thailand (at minimum) are very health conscious. Korea is at the point where foreigners are going to Korea for health care. Even I have been looking into a holiday to Korea to get a health consult and treatment because of how amazing their healthcare is. I don’t know how their neuroscience division is but for a lot of other departments, they are currently one of the top countries for people wanting a full work-up and treatment.

The rest of the members did not know the exact reason OGmc acted that way. OG mc was traumatized and would push EVERYONE away. He would cower in fear and scream at the slightest touch. He wouldn’t even let the black haired member sleep in their shared room, so the black haired dude just accepted that he had to sleep in the living room. The pink haired member did find out, but of course OGmc was still scare and ashamed that pink haired dude saw him in that state and pushed him away again. The members all cared for him, but it was OGmc that wouldn’t tell them or let them close enough to help.
