Volume 3's change in tone in translation cracks me up
I like how they changed as they became adults, everyone except Youji... Tomori used to like hot-headed men who were quick to fight like Youji, which was why ahe was ok dating him. But now, she's a stern feminist. Tho tbf, she never approved of Youji's targeted bullying of Misato before either. Misato used to be indifferent and unafraid of being hit before his S.A. It's just different once you become an adult. All that courage and rebellious values just get corrected as you age.
Visiting this manga every year at this point even tho i should just wait for a notif instead
Also the meaty thighs and curves just make them smut so much yummier
There are a few unusual things about Cafe Goyo. Number one, their coffee sucks. Number two, their cu...

I'll be honest: age gaps are common themes of "nostalgic romance" -- it's a common theme in literature, and it's especially a common theme in BL, a genre centered in secrecy and acceptance and "forbidden" romance, or at least forbidden at the time.
For me, it's not a big deal as long as the younger party wasn't exploited, and there's genuine interest and affection coming from them without coercion or brainwashing coming from the older party.
The start of their romance and first time of their sex was consensual in my eyes, regardless whether Mori was morally correct or not (he wasn't). Their second sex in their adulthood was tense, and it was bordering dubcon, but Tora was sober and has the strength to fight him for real, as seen in him hitting Tetsuya in the hallway before the sex scene. Tetsuya was saying Tora has to fight him for real and not hold back in punching him if he really didn't want to accept Tetsuya.
Questionable and it's probably coercion or smth of the like, but this kind rough yes or no communication is so freaking common in mangas made in the 2010s especially when they involve macho men. Tora and Tetsuya are former gangsters, plus Tora's a tsundere, so rough communication is not unexpected? What's important is the aftermath.
The aftermath of their 2nd sex showed them to be at peace and Tora didn't show signs of unhappiness or trauma.
After that, Tetsuya didn't force himself on Tora.
Oh god oh god IDK HOW TO FEEL ABOUT THE POSSIBILITIES (of the future scenes of her job as an actress) it's just something you can't avoid but it's still a hard pill to swallow
Godsssss i don't think my faith in humanity will ever be restored either, dear Yeongno.
Well i came here for the smut, and it gave me lighthearted consensual smut. I approve !
I'm just re reading and all, but regarding Ch. 25 DAIKI REALLY IS A GOOD GUY

I don't think I'll ever be ready to see them explicitly make sexual progress in the future. Can't the mangaka just do more subtle imagery?? It's giving me anxiety. Like what if teenage pregnancy scare is part of their storyline?? Please no
