this may be one of the classics but that doesn’t change the fact that this is a problematic manhwa the over feminization of the male characters who are “bottoms” are so… look at me in the eyes and tell me this shit isn’t weird… if you say so otherwise then that just tells me that you are a fetishizer who hasn’t seen a real gay men.

the main couple is unbearable as fuck. no hyesung is not a badass. he is a rape victim that is one thing for sure but y’all need to remember that he’s young when he got byul, of course he’s bound to act immature and that doesn’t make him cute at all. he IS annoying.

and not to mention, dojin who is a rapist who wants to take responsibility as if in the first place that is not what he intended to do at all. he is not supposed to be complimented for taking responsibility when in the first place he is the cause of the problem.

and don’t even get me started on that bitch chowon his face pisses me off, he’s not “beautiful” he is a heavily fetishized male character. what is the point of writing a “boy’s love” story when they look anything but a boy?

the only good thing that has come out of this manhwa is dojun and heesoo. they should’ve gotten their own series instead of the forced main couple and a criminal being paired with a normal civilian side couple.

we don’t care if this is a classic, this kind of representation is harmful not only to the lgbtqia community but to women as well. if you’re going to writing a BL, then stick to it being exclusive about BOYS ONLY. WRITE A BOY’S LOVE AND DON’T USE WOMEN AND HETERONORMATIVE ACTIVITIES ON IT!

i’ve heard a bunch of shit thrown at him calling him a typical “i only have myself in this world mc” and him being “immature because he can’t accept the fact that bihwan’s in love with seoho and not him” but none of those could ever change my mind on him. what genuinely peaks my curiosity is how could they ever think that way about minchan as if they’re reading a completely different series, how could they ever interpret minchan’s action and character as that?

he’s one of the most considerate and patient main character i have known so far and despite the story still starting with limited chapters, the author has already shown how his past has affected him to be the person he is now. i don’t care if he is those typical main characters who has no luck on their side, he may be stereotypical but he’s still the most lovable to me. you moved mountains minchan! and i will hate anyone who goes into your way or hurt you

his face pisses me off even when he’s not doing anything

he has the guts to act like he “cares” now? it deadass took him his child’s life time to do some action? he doesn’t even have to show some concern as a parent, showing concern as a fellow human being is enough.

what gets me more is that he thinks he can act as a parent for rishar, when his whole child is going through abuse. how can he feel bad for rishar because his parents died but not feel anything upon hearing that his OWN child is ill? there’s nothing wrong with taking rishar under his wing, but the fact that he can do that for other children but not to his own? he’s a fucking dead beat of a father.

and let us all be honest, he doesn’t care about etienne till now. he was just called out by rishar and was embarrassed so now he has to start acting like he does care.

i get why he’s feeling that way but i don’t get how is running away from your responsibilities solves anything. i guess the main couple’s pair is a match made in heaven because one is persistent while one is avoidant, i personally really liked the uke even though he might have come out as forceful in some scenes but for me carried this series and made it bearable to read…

i recently reread killing stalking and i knew wooyeon reminded me of someone and that’s sangwoo both are sociopaths (psychopath on sangwoo’s side) who just says anything, both are also pretentious but shows their true side to that one twink and i guess both are serial rapists? but wooyeon a tad bit better than sangwoo though i guess he’s not as bat shit crazy lol

it’s been years and i’m still not sick of this series and i don’t think i will ever be it’s so damn good like everything about the story and how it’s written is a chef’s kiss.

i really love how the story progressed but one thing that really got me is that the author made such a lovable second lead without him getting in the way of the main couple’s relationship. despite uno being fit and having a good chemistry with sihyeon, it was never an obstacle but instead it became a stepping stone and helped sihyeon and hajun’s relationship progress more for the better!

anyways can everyone collectively agree that uno is such a lovable character? his codename is not candy but all he did throughout the whole series is serve himself as an eye candy for us i read the comment where they suggested that uno COULD bottom and i can see the vision, i want his ass plowed but regardless if he bottoms or not i just want his side story already, not rushing the author just feeling some drought after rereading
