I’m trying to get through this but it’s really frustrating. Art style, perfect! Storytelling, great! Characters, interesting! Worldbuilding, fascinating! Smut, absolutely phenomenal! But what is completely throwing me off is how annoying the seme is. I understand his character and why he acts this way, but he’s so incredibly selfish and bratty when things aren’t going his way. It’s so incredibly frustrating I can’t even enjoy the smut without getting annoyed. I don’t care if your parents died 11 years ago, can you do your fucking job??? You have a responsibility, take care of it. You’d think he wouldn’t want others to end up like him, right? But he is so reluctant to guide even though it barely takes any effort for him. Seriously, I’m only on ch. 14 so no spoilers but I really couldn’t keep going without talking about this.
I get your perspective, but it’s important to remember he was only 9 when this all started—his parents died, and the one person he trusted was constantly gone on missions. With no real parental figure and being treated like a tool, it makes sense he became jaded. Eventually, he probably realized he was the only S guide, which gave him power—he's essential, and they need him more than he needs them. That imbalance shaped him. He’s been controlled and abused, but it also gave him the leverage to make his own rules.

Same. He’s definitely still been being a major ahole but some of the stupid shit he does makes a little more sense now even if it does make me want to slap him upside the head

I'm glad they don't look like all the generic top and bottoms out there ngl. i think the artist really cared to present something different, even to the point of having unusual details like the mole in the bussy lol
I really agree! Although, my problem isn’t with character design but rather how they’re drawn. It’s inconsistent a lot of the time and the facial expressions are really peculiar to me, but I do understand how people could still enjoy it regardless!
This really is heartbreaking , seeing him say he’s not gonna end up like his father then finally being able to prove he has a bright future ahead of him , only for everything to go to shit. It really does just make me sad how this all lead him to become who he is now
