Also, I'd like to add here, my personal opinion.. that it's the author's fault.. they know very well what they've created.. and just for fanservice they shouldn't have botched it. If indeed some fans see them together - let the fans create that weird fanservice art or story themselves. Like what happened with Black Butler - Ciel and Sebastian..
But the author knowingly puts Potato and Papa in compromising scenes which we BL readers over the years, have started to subconsciously associate with BL and Yaoi.
The author has created GL version of potato and papa, like literal GL, again, people blame the fans for shipping them. But IT'S the author who makes it and makes sure that such fans are regularly fed.. Just idk why they gotta do that..
