Sometimes I wonder how Dojin puts up with Hyesung. Like I get he's unhappy about things, but it's also not right to be taking it out on his baby Byul is so damn cute too. I feel like Dojin is always bending over backwards to please Hyesung. Like can Hyesung do something for Dojin for once? (besides the bare minimum of staying by his side.. And even then, he's tried to run away before )

He wasn’t necessarily bringing out any personal anger on Byul and instead felt frustrated bc he isn’t advancing at the same rate as the other kids he sees. It’s normal for a parent to be worried in these kind of cases, I don’t think he should have yelled like that, but I understand why he’s concerned. And also, Hyesung is warming up on Dojin in his own way. It’s exhausting seeing so many people hate this man for trying his best :

Tbh, I don't see it as him suddenly being snapping at Byul out of worry. He was definitely frustrated to start with and seeing Byul not properly talking just made him more frustrated so he snapped at his baby. If he was truly worried and wanted the best for Byul, he would've acted differently. He definitely lost control of his temper there. My issue is the fact that he always puts his own thoughts/feelings/frustrations above how others would feel. Like did it not occur to him that Dojin would be bothered by how he seems to want to hide their relationship completely? It's like saying I'm embarrassed to be with you when someone acts the way he does. Like I can see him trying more than before, but he definitely still has a suuuuper long way to go. Because he always reverts back to being selfish for his own comfort, in my opinion.

Uh..all parents deal wit things differently and I already said he shouldn’t have shouted at Byul the way he did, the frustration is understandable and very much valid. If Hyesung doesn’t want to go public with their relationship and Dojin also a wants to respect his decision, then they don’t. Making their relationship public won’t change a thing behind the scenes. Hyesung also hasn’t said anything about being embarrassed by their relationship and as I’ve already said, he’s still warming up on it as each chapter passes. You see him as being selfish, but most of us who understand that this boy wasn’t properly loved or educated get that he’s got a lot to adjust to. Not every person is going to just suddenly flip a switch and pretend they’re okay with all these changes and I’m glad the author is showing the reality of this kind of situation and not trying to baby it down.
I wonder why Dojun looked so anxious
