The point is that there is a force that was binding some of the other characters to act differently, so she was trying to make him disconnect from that force.

I have a feeling he is the cause of that force and that is WHY she cannot change him. He was already twisted, there is no scenes where someone brainwashed him or whatever like how Seira is

There is no spoilers from novel reader which makes me curious even more, but there's a spoiler about why the characters act different from ogNovel, it's because the OGNovel narrative is in the leads perspective which makes them look like a good person but in reality they're trash, which in my opinion, OgML might not be brainwashed and he is already twisted cause I heard OgML spread rumours about ML because he hated him and he also spread rumours about FL so she can be dependent on him. This is my argument so far
