Just started reading endos works and im been on a binge

felt like it squeezed my heart out and put it through a grinder lol. Like, wow,the author didn't hold back any punches for her readers,the moment from the rape ( like actual abuse) ,neglect, drug use and the deaths all of was wonderfully written, like something you'd actually see or hear it happening to someone.

Its rare for a manga to make me feel like i'm completely immersed in it like it would with a novel but this was probably one of those; it felt almost voyeuristic at times, uncomfortably so and i was tempted to skip at parts but i went through with it. Everything from the time of abuse to the end with the two brothers on the boat, it felt like i was witnessing it two feets away. And ngl, I shed some tears when i saw how hard jeremy was struggling, I also know how hard it is to move past the feeling of feeling unworthy to love, so really relatable.Ultimately, even if its a story and just fiction, I hope they (all the characters) got some form of closure somehow, sometime in the future.
