I have no experience with the novel except the revenge reveal/ending but iirc in the earlier chapters it said something like "This comic is an adaptation but won't be the same as the novel" or something like that so maybe there is a chance this will have some type of "good ending" whatever the definition for that is

so i heared that juyeon had a crush on jiwook as a kid but jiwook and his friends raped juyeon, so all of this is basically his revenge. Jiwook falls inlove w juyeon but juyeon doesnt like him back.
No, they just depend on each other emotionally when jiwook finally remembered everything they both started crying and jiwook begged juyeon not to leave while juyeon hates himself for not being able to leave him. They continue living with each other and jiwook often makes mistakes (breaking plates, hurting himself) on purpose so juyeon gives him attention. He even started hallucinating that he was getting gangraped again which made him attempt to kill himself. Juyeon walked in on the attempt and gets worried so he started taking jiwook to therapy/gets medication. They don’t love each other but they can’t separate. Jiwook also accepts that he likes it when juyeon hurt/chokes/hits him during sex.
