Just finished binge-ing this. That it started pretty benign in terms of their interactions and then instantly doubled down on the rushed gun and grape still left me feeling absolutely floored even though I kept in my mind that there'll definitely be something adverse for such a story revolving around mafias but damn. It also feels unsatisfying that their first had to be that one. But oh well, we do a little toxicity, titters.
My one regret is finding this while the sides are still unfinished and now to deal with a revelatory cliffhanger. Curiosity for what happens next demands I stay.
This development is honestly far more dynamic and interesting to me than simply a vindictive one-track mind. The arc was well alright. It can get stale if MC's personality only ever values revenge. To not have a life outside of revenge, that's miserable and boringly predictable. Furthermore, It's not as if he gave up on revenge altogether either as that remains his desire, just among a newfound one. It's the affirmation of Vikir's being now truly moving by his own volition rather than an affliction of influence, that's worth of appreciation. The story's not ending anytime soon, why fixate so hard and expect revenge then and there?
Exactly what i’m thinking. This mc really surprised me by how complex his thought process is.
