So Ive been reading the novel and I feel like I need to get this off my chest. Was the girls name Chaein? Well he ends up with her but it's so random it destroyed my happiness from reading. She rarely shows up, he saved her ads twice (they don't really talk then tho cause she's uncouncious) and one when time when she wanted to join his guild and he told her to beat her minion if she wants to join. She beat his minion but it wasn't the strongest and she wanted him to summon it so he did and ended up saving her from it later. I thought she'd be a cool ice queen, that she would have at least history??? Maybe let the readers know and like the FL before you make her be with the MC. We basically only know that she's strong and her name. That's all. She has almost no history with the main character and we didn't get a chance to relate to her either cause the only thing she does is obsessing over Jinwoo. Well almost everyone's like that but if she's the FL shouldn't she be introduced better? I honestly disliked how the author made her blush anytime Jinwoo did something and make her thoughts all about "omg I feel so safe with him omg I'm blushing". I think the only long convo they had was when she wanted to join his guild and she said she's intrested in him back then (then being embarrassed about it). And in one chapter he decides to randomly go on a date with her????????? Like, he literally mostly ignored her the whole time, they don't know each other, he didn't even want her in his guild in the first place and suddenly the author makes them go out??? And I feel like Jinwoo is getting dumber with each chapter. He went on a date when he couldn't be reached A FEW DAYS BEFORE THE FUCKING APOCALYPSE XD Cause a really large gate appeared in the middle of Seoul and it couldn't be entered so they needed to wait until the break out. And when he was having his sweet time with the girl, a really strong opponent appeared (that only Jinwoo could deal with) and started killing citizens. I feel so disappointed in the romance and I think the series would have been SO MUCH better without it. My friend who reads it and doesn't like BL or GL said that romance between the MC and Jinho would make more sense than between Chae and the MC xDDD I really love this series but the forced romance just made it hard for me to read happily. There will be so much going on, I can assure you cause in the novel the action is getting pretty intense but I can't stand Chae and can't understand why the author decided to add something totally unecessary and make the MC look dumber and Chae like some damsel in distress.

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when the action was all like (not in chronological order) Jinwoo clears Jeju Island, saves the whole fucking Japan, kills the creator of the System, gets so strong he is literally the stongest hunter in the world, becomes the master of his own guild, beats crap out of one of the strongest hunters in the world to revenge Jinho (who was kidnapped and beaten almost to death) and then Jinwoo is like "while waiting for the apocalypse I'm going to go on a date in a place that I can't be reached so if you all die I'll know after I'm back" xDD
She doesn't even appear after she left. Kinda sad he said he'd visit and now everyone forgets her but even she was better choice than Chae, at least Jinwoo seemed interested in her too and they had quite the history together

Yeah what I'm talking about is a romance without even introducing a proper female lead. We know nothing about her and MC didn't show any interest in her until the date thing yet the author seems to think it's reasonable to make them go out. It's even implied they slept together lol I just hope that the plot returns to action after this date and the romance will fade away XDD

It’s just this episode and nothing else, nothing will change after that, there don’t happen any romance or drama on it. By the way, the healer girl actually was mentioned some more times in the end of the story and she appeared in the after story as an normal college student.

I agree and disagree. I agree that Haein was not developed well for being the love interest. She fell for him abruptly and that's unfortunate. But I disagree that the romance will ruin this series or make the series less entertaining. It honestly does not. It sounds to me like you want the romance to be fully developed and dissected. It sounds to me you want there to be more romance and you're not happy that the romance was not fully included. Correct me if I'm wrong, It sounds to me you want a romance story. But as you can see, this is action and adventure, not romance.
I personally think the way the author vaguely adds chapters here and there, while littering subtle hints of Jinwoo's feelings toward Haein here and there, is perfect for the action to move forward. I think the underdevelopment of the romance complements the fact that this is an action and not a romance.
You could look at it either way, but tbh, I prefer this over the thought that the author could have developed them more and literally turned this into a romance. I prefer this action/adventure and vague romance over a full on romance any day.
What type are you? Someone who doesnt care for romance in general or are you someone who is afraid adding romance will interfere with the action? If the latter, then don't worry. The romance doesn't interfere with the action. The action literally continues despite the subplot of jinwoo and haein's relationship. What should ruin the story for you isn't the romance but something else after lol. Not gonna spoil but imo, the romance is the least of anyone's worries.
No, I think that the romance was unnecessary since it's an action webtoon and on top of it being unnecessary it felt forced. Like it feels like some people wanted romance and the author was like "ok I'll give you romance but leave me alone after that" xD
And I'm glad if there is no more romance after the date cause it just felt like a poor filler :/
I see. I guess we interpreted the novel differently. You could look at the addition of their relationship both ways, I think. But yeah, I do wonder what would have happened without it? Personally I don't like how the story itself progressed, regardless of their relationship, so if anything was unnecessary to me, it was "that" moment later in the story. Not gonna spoil tho.
I get it, romance x action = not that good. But you don't have to act like it's gonna bring down the SL ratings down to 8.6 it's really not that bad. If you get saved by Jin Woo then you can't really blame her for falling for him I mean look at the topics, it's filled with literally everyone saying "STEP ON ME" or "OH GOD JIN WOO SO HOT"

Like, at least to bury him or something? Okay now he's contacted them and they are eating all sad and stuff and I've seen it was hard for them but I still can't understand why they didn't search for his body lol idk it just seems ooc since they seemed to be the type that would do everything to find him and I feel a bit disappointed but at least they cared
In the later chapters you see flashback scenes how they tried to follow him, but the cliff was to steep and the friends had to stop them from jumping in their deaths.
Not only the steep cliff thing but they were in the middle of nowhere, in bandit territory with very little resources. And back when we were like that many people that were buried didn’t have their bodies in the graves because family couldn’t waste resources looking for a dead body because they had to feed the living ones.
I get what you mean but there is no proof they didn't search for him.... he didn't stay unconscious for that long and started moving as soon as he could and from then on we only saw what he did to survive but we don't what every one else did. So maybe they did search but couldn't find the body which gave them hope that maybe he's still alive or something (⌒▽⌒)
