On ch. 98, Mame had said something about wanting to be a kitsune (fox) youkai and since it was said in a gag moment, I really didn't think any of it; just laughing out loud.
Now rereading this part with the new arc, how can I not notice that never once before or after this chapter (98), there has been any kitsune youkai around, or at least spotted in the background? Is it a foreshadow for the current arc or am I just reading too much?
I love rereading this series (≧∀≦)
Was a nice touch BUT, I won't be fooled! The area still full of people and I'm pretty sure identifying the MC's mind chatters would still be difficult for him. The only scenario possible for the revelation would be if they both were the only people in a closed room or awake in the middle of the night where others were asleep (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
Tbh, the drama itself wasn't all that bad. Yes, it didn't do the webtoon justice; well they choose to end it with the last arc in the webtoon, cramming that build-up 150+ chs into 8 eps of 40-ish mins resulting the...unique plot. But I see they somehow tried to keep the essence like, how Baekji Na actually wishes true friends or something? I kinda forget the detail but I remember reading a panel where he imagined being friends with Sieun? Or is that only my imagination? XD loll
Anyway if it was like that, then it matches the drama; yes it's different (duh, when I watched that scene, I was like 'oh? Hoo... childhood friend. These two? Hoo. Umm. Okay. Interesting..hmm #frowning—) but the essence is there, needing someone he could call a friend.
Honestly, whc2 is challenging in itself coz it was the actual Weak Hero time set. Whc1 turned out good because, in the webtoon, it wasn't that deep, which gave the director or whoever wrote the plot for the K-drama a lot of freedom to explore, expand, to build; while in whc2, we, webtoon readers, are more deeply connected to the characters, the plots—knowing what will happen, etc thus we make somewhat expectation toward the drama inadvertently—or at least, that's how I perceive it.
Dammit, I dunno if it makes sense; Eng is not my main language ( ≧ᗜ≦)
I get what you say. It's watchable. But I can only watch it by forgetting it's an adaptation, because the webtoon is just too good and I remember it all
I disagree with one thing : the webtoon WAS deep. The K-Drama isn't. It's not freedom, it's lazyness. If you pay attention, every event of the webtoon is in the kdrama, but simplified (several event are combined, even). I won't talk about characters, or their development
It's a good kdrama if you want to pass time. The fights are good (which is frustating because you can see the potential for more, like, the crafty side of Grey). But it's a trashy adaptation. I will watch it to the end to have a final idea but the fact I intentionaly forget the webtoon to continue watching it isn't a good point
But already catching up; DAMMIT, shoulda wait for a little longer! D'x
Anyway, I noticed that the pacing kinda fast but its still okay. What I ain't okay with is WHY I CAN'T ALSO GET MYSELF A LOVER LIKE ONE OF THEM? Every time I see Eyra, "Heavens, he is so beautiful", and Yanu, "Hell, look at those AbS", I mean oh Universe how could you—

First of all, I LOVE the trio; Iruma, Azz, and Clarin BUT! I would love this AU to be more focused on this trio instead: Iruma, Opera, and Kalego— I mean, for this setting, they were more suitable, yeah? But kinda sad seeing Kalego somewhat fight me on it, seeing he wasn't keen on getting time screens as much as he did in the earlier chapters, but my hope stays with Opera; with the smaller age gap and the way things happened in the story—I just want to see more of them y'know? Being tangled intricately in the plot ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I agree! I mostly want to see more of Opera with Iruma. I love their new dynamics
