niannian didnt want to tell gu yansheng bcs if yansheng just switched up like that, it means that he doesnt care about niannian himself but the person who saved him. it can be whoever as long as its the person who saved him. niannian wanted yansheng to slowly realise and let yansheng suffer all by himself and regret everything. he basically wants to see yanshengs downfall. right now, yansheng is slowly finding out about shen luoan and is regretting the divorce since he acknowledged his feelings about niannian. yansheng found out that shen luoan stole niannians music and stuff and yansheng is now pursuing niannian but niannian is still rejecting him
