Color me surprise, didn't know about the side stories and so not happy about poor Yohan. He is still chasing after the dude even though they're living together. The sides read like unrequited love for a friend with benefit type story instead of 2 people mutually in love. WTF. Why is he putting Yohan last? Never heard of going to movies while working on a project! ( unless related to project which doesn't seem to be the case here) Dude picks up real quick when it's the other guy but not for poor Yohan?

Can't believe the justification that he was only obeying orders therefore it's ok for mc to fall in love! How the heck is that realistic? The pretty art and buff top have lulled us all.

He was not only following orders. He said it was out of duty (and paying back his debt), but more importantly it was also self interest. He wanted to become the sort of person whom no one could look down upon. He's not just being shallow and evil thought, there's other complicating factors. He was trying to focus on the bigger picture and believed that not letting outlanders invade was the highest priority. And if to achieve that he had to commit morally reprehensible acts, he would make that sacrifice. Because as he said, it was lesser of the two evils. There are other factors also complicating the situation more so it's not as black & white as it seems. It seldom is. But this is the gist of it.
And kids, that's how it's done! Communication and leaving no room for misinterpration/hope when turning down unwanted romantic feelings.
Though writing the mcs to be friends with that SA guy still irks.
Glad she's moved on finally. Disliked people who pry on strangers affairs then quick to pass judgement and apply their own viewpoint without fully understanding what happened.
Any situations they're in, their characters/personalities come through always! Jian will always be slightly goofy and a total simp for Xi, Xi will always be calm, collected, and has Jian back- little mo always prickly but soft hearted- He Tian always mischievious and ready to score any points with little Mo to make him fall for him. Big He is next level cool and in a class by himself!his errand boy will always get harassed and troubled by Tian and his friends.
This story can go on always and I will still read it and find it funny, sweet, romantic, pure, and sexy even if I'm super old.
It's lovemaking! Love that he said it's not just put it in and shoot your load. They're all in for each other! It's truly enviable.
