You’ve gotta have a lot of nerve to insult the person who saved your kid's life.

One time I was with my friend she caught a little kid from falling(at a children’s museum). There weren’t any obstacles so he probably tripped on a shoelace? But before we could check on him the kid started crying and the mom came and yelled at us for bullying her kid. I tried to her he tripped but she didn’t care? In short, some parents are kinda dumb

then i hope this kid learns from the outside world and doesnt grow up that dumb lol
but tbh i've also seen several moms like her, it was often the type that treated having a kid as a free pass for everything like skipping the queue in supermarkets or demanding to be let onto the plane first even before first class or business class without any priority boarding ticket

It’s especially sad the way she’s being treated because it looks like they were genuinely friends. It was a political marriage, a loveless marriage, but it wasn’t a marriage without feelings. And yet he’s so blinded by this new girl that he’s treating his closest friend and ally very poorly. Bro, you don’t GET to be upset that she found a new man.

It’s funny. I am a HUGE otome fan, and now that I think of it, of the many otome I’ve played, I can’t remember a single one with a villainess or rival of the types we keep seeing in all these manga and webtoons. It’s kinda funny.
That being said, this makes no sense. The other one I read where the girl tried to be a villainess at least made sense since she would be putting people in danger if she didn’t, but this girl is doing it for literally no reason. I can’t even call her a lovable idiot because the "idiot" part is way too strong. And from what I’ve read so far, the story would probably be more interesting without the otome reincarnation bit. Totally unnecessary here.

It also bothers me so much reading the people in the stories refer to them as "otome games".

    Cheshie December 1, 2019 10:27 am

Actually she has a very logical reason... (if you read the light novel)

Actually she has a very logical reason... (if you read the light novel) Cheshie

Hopefully that ends up being the case here. Because so far she basically just said she might as well to make people happy.

lol I can't believe after your comment the next chapter that came out literally starts addressing why she's really doing it. god is that u??

    melon April 23, 2020 1:50 am

I didn't read the novel so this is just my speculation, but I think she wants to fall to ruin cuz it's a ending where she can be with Addie.

    Saorise April 23, 2020 4:56 am

Yeah, there's no otome game with villainess. they don't want to reincarnate as the heroine(bc thats dumb and boring aight), so there's the villainess thing that came about

I lost a lot of respect for Chanyoung in one moment. Talk to Heesu about the REAL issue. Don’t emotionally manipulate people. I can only imagine how annoying it must have been to have someone clinging to you nonstop for years, but using girls who genuinely like you in order to push him away is not the answer. Cut him out of your life if you need to, but you can’t pick and choose what parts of a person you want to keep. Chanyoung is actually kind of disgusting me.
But omg, those other two boys are so adorable, lol.

I have officially died of secondhand embarrassment.

Reminds me of when I told my dad I was going to school with Steve Job's nephew and he replied, "Marry him."

Okarisu November 28, 2019 12:36 am

I’d really prefer it was one of those plots where they have their past memories but are overall the same person. This is an adult woman asking a six-year-old to marry her. Yeah, I know she’s in love with who he becomes when he gets older, but still.
She’s a little daft and very childish, so maybe she does have a child's mentality, to an extent? Like, she spent so much time in that body she became it? I hope so, or else it’s just too creepy for me.

    DREAMGIRLFRIEND November 30, 2019 10:02 pm

Yeah usually every reincarnation story only have the memories of their past self most of their attachments to their world may differ so they can either hold it strongly or start from scratch because they feel it as if it was a dream something unreal and still trying to make sense of it but others hold it so strong that when they see children they actually see them as children and feel old

    Okarisu December 11, 2019 3:32 pm

Looks like her personalities and experiences merged, so that’s better.

Okarisu November 27, 2019 11:12 pm

Does one of them die in the end? Cuz that kind of thing is too sad for me to read.

    Sik-k Is A Whore November 28, 2019 4:18 pm

No. Taeyi (One of the main characters) brother (Taejun) committed suic!de. Don't worry, it's not a spoiler. I personally liked the story but please do not read it if you're depressed or have any thoughts about harming yourself. Some scenes will definitely trigger negative things.

I absolutely lost it when Gandalf asked if he could feed them, too.

Okarisu November 23, 2019 7:36 pm

"You were lonely, too." While I went, "Awwwwww," I’m also glad he gets it now. He had a hard life, but he resented her for a while, which truly did mean she was completely alone until he finally came to trust her. I’m glad he knows she suffered, and I’m glad it was addressed. Even if she didn’t grow up with that family, they still treated her like family, housed her for a year, and expected her to be filial no matter the cost.
