I have read a LOT of webtoons, but I don't think I've ever read one that has the characters falling in love at such a smooth pace. It feels natural. Sure, a few big events made them become more aware of feelings, but it didn't take some huge event for them to realize they loved each other. Raeliana's forever going to be one of my favorite webtoons.

I read a story with the exact same beginning literally yesterday.

i think she/he means this one

it's the same start, but the mc has another reason to divorce/break off the engagement with the prince :)
hope it helped (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

maybe this one http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/milady_just_wants_to_relax/ ? it also ahve a similar start=)

I think this was the one. I hated it because the heroine knew how to do and make everything, so it made no sense. She was disgustingly perfect.

I swear, half of y'all are gonna be rooting for the Second Prince as time goes by, lol.

He definitely does some shitty things to come, I'll admit that, but he more than makes up for it by saving his brother's life and supporting him. He also didn't cheat on his wife. A maid gave him a note that must have been a threat or blackmail or something. Idk if she knew the contents or not, but whatever it was, it was bad enough that he pinned her down to confront her. Surprise! Wife and co. walk in at that very moment.
So idk if I want to read this or not. It looks REALLY good, but the main character's design is KILLING me! Those double eye lids annoy me so much. There's a difference between double lids and looking like you haven't slept in three years. People who don't like the art: is it really worth reading despite all this?
lmao because that's the point. Her double eye lids are supposed to look unnatural due to her plastic surgery.
The story is cute, and quite thought-provoking, esp if you know anything about Korean obsession with beauty.
I wouldn't really say that's "the point", because everyone's saying she looks gorgeous but plastic. She doesn't. She just looks average and really, really tired all of the time. It doesn't work for me. They're saying she's gorgeous, but I'm just seeing someone with really swollen eyes or someone who's tired. So if what you said is the point, I'd have to say the target was greatly missed. Instead of a "Gangnam Beauty", I'm getting "insomnia and swelling".
My biggest concerns stem from the fact that I, myself, have had plastic surgery, and society has put a lot of shame into it, even though it's not shameful. I know that she gets made fun of for having work done, but I hope the moral of the story isn't, "Plastic surgery is stupid, and you only get it because society has pressured you and you hate yourself. High self-esteem cures everything."
Hmm okay fair. For me I was a little bothered with the double eyelids at first, but I also do realize that the author meant for double eyelids to look unnatural. Unlike "reality" where you can kinda tell if a person looks "plastic" or not, this is a webtoon, so it's hard to draw a gorgeous yet plastic face. The easy way out for the author, I suppose, is to draw an unnatural pair of eyelids. The mc's biggest trademark is her gorgeous yet unnatural beauty after all, so the author HAS to bring this point out in the arts.
And no that isn't the message here. There are characters that introduce nuances to the story, and you will be able to see from the perspective of someone who's a natural beauty, and what plastic surgery means for her.
Thanks so much! I'll definitely check it out. I saw the first two episodes on viki and liked it, so now I just gotta decide which I wanna finish first. This looks better, but there are some cute characters they made on the show that don't exist here, and I've already grown attached, haha. XD
I personally didn't like it as well, but because of her personality I've come to like her a lot. She is sooo cute! So for me it's easier to read, doesn't bother me as it used to
