Every time he talked to his old friends and they didn't know him I started crying. I'm glad they picked the brother. When it's done, they'll have a way of befriending their old friends again, if they want. It won't be the same, but it's something. I'll dream they all run into each other someday and the kids remember them.
My biggest complaint is bothering to mention Tamarai's crush. I think we can all agree Aki has a crush on her. Since she said her crush likes someone else, I'm guessing it's Nobu. Anyway, it's kind of annoying they just gave us that, and then decided to never touch it again.
Overall, a great story that had me bawling on multiple occasions. Finished it in less than three days, no regrets.
Also, YoakeXAn becomes canon later on, and you can pry that headcanon from my cold, dead body.
In the past I wanted the parents to know the truth, but honestly, I don't want them to know now. Taemin is never going to be involved in their life in the end. He doesn't feel an attachment to them, and he'll never be the son they knew. All they have left in the end is their other child. He's a piece of shit, but he'll never get what he wants now. He'll be looking behind his shoulder for the rest of his life. Ostracize him at school with the truth, sure, but I just don't want those poor parents to suffer anymore.
It's kind of funny. In any other manga we'd all be like, "HORRIBLE FATHER IS STANDING IN THE WAY OF TRUE LOVE!" and in this one we're like, "YES! BREAK THEM UP, DAD!"
But yeah, basically confirmed that the girl Joonhyuk's father wants him to end up with is Sooha.

Rereading chapter 5, I absolutely love that she's best friends and has a great relationship with a guy who never becomes a love interest.
I’m really relieved that Taesoo told Sooha about Doh in advance, granted she might think it was just part of the initial lie now. If Sooha found out from someone else she would probably be inclined to believe Doh since most women don’t lie about this sort of thing (which is honestly part of the reason I dislike Doh). That Taesoo told Sooha beforehand means she’ll likely believe him if it ever comes out. Knowing that makes this less stressful, lol.
So wait, did he secretly know all along that she liked him? Like, since chapter 1?
