This story is so frustrating bc the main characters are big huge idiot dumdums. The alpha literally has rocks for brains. He's a grown man and doesn't know basic human emotion even very young children can grasp.
His two big "realizations" are so shallow and nonsensical it's insulting to readers. Jihyuk is one of the messiest, most self-centered MC's I've ever seen. Constantly contradicting himself, seemingly emotionally literate and insightful one moment, then completely dense the next. Firm with boundaries one moment, then just lets ppl do whatever to him the next--at the whim of the author for whatever plot point needs to happen next OR to make sure Jihyuk is the biggest victim at all times. Both he and the alpha are nothing but caricatures of tropes to the extreme, that it's actually almost funny. (Not complaining about the omega, because of the three, I find him to be the most polished in terms of characterization and narrative)
Anyway this story has good stuff too. Knotting. Omega top. Jihyuk's suicidal thoughts feel very real. The art improved a crazy amount the last few chapters. And one of my favorite melodrama tropes, inexplicably puking blood bc of Anguish.
...See you guys here next chapter

The narrative was setting up Jaewoo as endgame the whole time.... and then he got completely shafted. This was a hard read for me. I spent so much time pissed off at the twins' parents for indulging Seowoo all the way through high-school and allowing him to take advantage of his brother. Even dying his hair, with the expectation that Jaewoo will do everything he finds too hard to do?? "This way you can still be me!" FUCK OFF. So Jaewoo does all the hard work getting Ohn used to him and able to talk normally, and then Seowoo gets to reap all the reward. The way Ohn got over the deception was unsatisfying. The conversation between the twins was unsatisfying. Idk it was cutesy, but also frustrating.

I knew it's sus when im only halfway of the story. That's why i look in the comments and saw this. I totally agree. Other people are saying Jaewoo betrayed his brother, but how about him getting enough of being used. He's the one who worked hard to get close to Raon that Seowoo couldn't muster the courage to do while Jaewoo had it in him to stop being a doormat to his brother and prioritise his own feelings when he has internal struggle being known as himself, so finding out Seowoo being endgame is BS. He's just a spoiled prick who took advantage of people's care to endulge him with his whims. Im dropping this

2 seasons, 65 chapters in, and there haven't been any major developments beyond a shared heat and an agreement to work together... Idk the pacing is kind of weird. It feels like the plot has slowly been building but never culminates. Especially when a season ends on a scene that seems like any other chapter. The characters and art are cute at least.

Aahhh I love this, honestly I'll be happy wherever the story goes bc the characters are so interesting and complex. Good or bad end, this is my jam. Kind of hope there's a good chase and take down scene in the woods followed by punishment sex though

I like cnc roleplay and I enjoy dark stories, psychosexual thrillers like this one included! It's really as simple as that. No need to act like I'm some criminal and wish death on me just because I'm not ashamed of enjoying bodice rippers and rape fantasies. I'm a sexual assault survivor myself so I'm very aware of what's fun pretend/interesting to read about/explore in fiction and what's a crime.
The way this story completely glosses over the kid lol I swear unless he's being used as a plot device, the author practically forgets he exists lol little buddy is just sleeping, he's basically a prop. Could replace him with a lamp
