
The pacing and flow of this story are so messy... it's like 10 'ah-ha reveals!!' strung together with very little development or space in between to make them emotionally impactful. We're kind of just thrown in with no set up. A very "tell, not show" kind of story where every plot point and reveal is verbally explained bc there's no in-story writing or plot action to let readers naturally follow what's happening. It's a great concept and story idea but the way it unfolded was messy. The art is gorgeous though.
I kind of wish the stalking was more relevant. What was the point of making him a stalker if it was never going to be mentioned again? Like not even a 'is he doing this to punish me for stalking?' Or 'I can't believe he could hide his true nature so well when I know him better than anyone' or something. This could have been interesting but it's so 2 dimensional
