I actually like this Rapiel better than S1 for that reason... but I also think it's easier for Rapiel to detach himself from Kloff because there's no bond/imprinting between them, which obviously makes it harder for Aeroc.
very early 2000s, not something i would read in 2025. as an avid bl reader I've read all type of trope and genre, I've had the privilege to know the greenest of green flag as well as discovering red flags that are so complex and fun to read; so i enjoy reading characters who have personality and these two are bland. kloff is so up his ass w his insecurity he refused to see another alpha/aristocrat higher than his rank as potential romantic interest even when the said alpha tried to express his feelings many a time.
p.s I feel like in modern times, kloff would be a bully suffering from deep internalised homophobia.
