To me, Ray is worse than anyone in this story. That guy groomed, manipulated a suicidal kid and broke him totally by leaving just to feel superior. And, never once he felt sorry for him when that kid just wanted a Shelter and a person that he can relay on. I can't really blame Winter for it when he never learned to properly loved by anyone and no one there to teach him moral rather he saw dirty things when he was by Ray's side and expose to those rapey kind of sex and drugs. Who can blame when his surroundings where shit from the beginning to the end.
